To encourage, inspire, and equip current and future evangelists, ministry leaders, and students for the task of proclaiming the Gospel. The Center preserves historic materials reflective of Mr. Billy Graham’s 70-year ministry.
Based on the reservation request, researchers will interact with specific items from our media and materials archive collections. The media archives stores the full collection of ministry history with photography, video, film, and audio. The material archives are files of the organizational work of the many evangelistic Crusades and ministry opportunities, including sermon manuscripts, personal correspondence, and notes from government, religious and cultural leaders.

Yes, the Billy Graham Archive and Research Center is free, including the parking, but reservations are required to visit. To make a reservation, please submit a request at Visit Research Request.
Yes, we are currently accepting appointments for research! We ask that inquiries be made within at least 14 days from your visit in order to have time to locate and pull records. All requested appointments are subject to availability. Please submit a request at Visit Research Request.
To provide the best experience possible, we will discuss details about your research before your visit and prepare specific items within the collection for you to view during your visit.

The Billy Graham Archive and Research Center accepts donations of materials related to Billy Graham and his team. All donations must be accompanied with an Archives Donation Form and mailed to the Library Archives at 4330 Westmont Drive, Charlotte, N. 28217. The Research Room will be open to the general public for research. Appointments are required and can be made at Visit Research Request.
The Archive and Research Center was not designed with study groups in mind. This facility is meant specifically for researchers and the storage of historical materials.
Too many to count! In archives, each individual piece of material (whether it’s an object, paper, media, or anything else) is called a “record.” There will be an estimated hundreds of thousands of records total housed in the building. They will consist of multiple formats of audio and audio visual materials, papers, awards, paintings, gifts, scrapbooks, and much, much more. Records are categorized by their medium and their content.
